Now we're going to use this planner here to each of these dreams – these priorities – into a plan!

SMARTER is a goal-setting methodology for setting and slaying your goals. Doing SMARTER work means you spend your time putting that thing you want to do into action and moving forward instead of just letting it marinate in your head.

To slay your goals you need to work SMARTER →

• Specific - Focus on exactly what you want.
• Measurable - How will the results of your goal be quantified? This is all about measuring your progress.
• Actionable - Long term goals are good, but what's the first step? Create a win for yourself! Is this a goal that you can create a plan to achieve?
• Realistic - Keep it real. This is not about dumbing down your goals, but if your goal is a million dollars or something, you're going to have to set some aggressive milestones and be willing to put in some super SMART work, yah dig?
• Time-bound - Set a deadline and stick to it!
• Evaluate - MAKE time to consistently review your results and whether you are on track to meet your goal.
• Re-adjust - Adjust your approach as needed to ensure that you are moving closer to your end result.

Think about your audience.

Audience is a term with more nuance when it comes to your business because it's not just your customers! When you're considering how your business goal will affect your people ← and you definitely should, think of:

1. Your stakeholders. The shot callers. Yourself and anyone that has a vested interest in your success.
2. Your team. They may not be invested directly, but your success does mean a paycheck does or does not happen so. . .
